...of course the cages are kinda nice to sit on top of —
especially when you're new and just starting to make friends.

And this is the same room looking east.
The raised fireplace hearth, futon and cat trees
all make great napping spots.

The cats also have access to their own
outdoor deck.
You can see one of their cat doors
to the left of the futon behind the
cat tree.

...and they do enjoy the deck.
If you look closely, you can see the chicken wire
that contains and protects them.

Where are their litter boxes?
Why, in their own room —
behind that glass door seen in the top photo.
And the little opening in the wall
to the right of that door
is their own little passageway.
