Animal Humane New Mexico's
Trap-Neuter-Return Program for Feral Cats

TNR ProgramStart Date: February 2018 — End Date: Ongoing

Animal Humane New Mexico has been a major TNR force since 2008 and we're pleased to partner with them in their efforts.  Since they started, they've fixed over 13,000 cats — and with our funding since 2018, through October 2019 they've fixeg another 2,638.  Each feral cat is humanely trapped, taken to their shelter clinic, sterilized, given a rabies and FRCP vaccination and has the left ear tipped to identify them as "sterilized".  And — with our George's Fund — we're able to provide additional funding to address any easily-treatable health needs they may have.

This feral-cat service is available also to New Mexico residents capable of doing their own trapping and clinic delivery/pickup.  For details, see their feral cat services webpage or call them at 505-217-0300.
