George's Picture Page

Here's George when he first arrived at our shelter in December, 2002 — not yet acquainted with the other feral cats he'll soon be joining. And here are some of the shelter mates he's joining.
There are many good play/rest areas in the barn. Which George became very comfortable with.
And the the cats had full access to a large screened-in corral, including playhouse and jungle gym. Which George took full advantage of.
In June, 2005, we moved the feral cats from the barn into the farmhouse to be sure they would not have problems with the house cats when we moved them all home. As can be seen in these farmhouse pics, George and his friends had no problem with this move, although they tended to associate with each other more than with the house cats.
In October, 2005, George moved to our home with all the other cats. To which he adapted comfortably.
And here he is with some of his barn friends, enjoying domestic living. And with his best friend, Larry, from his barn days.
And here with Robin and Mama, two of the farmhouse cats. And here with barn friends, Larry and Cleo.
And with barn friends, Larry and Joyce And with his favorite toy.
They all had plenty of play/rest area. That's George looking out the screen door. And another play/rest area. That's George back on the sofa with his friend Larry and one of our pet cats, Gracie.
That's George by the door. And on the sofa.
And again the two best friends. And yet again.
And these are our last pictures of George from 2008. He died of kidney failure a few weeks later We believe Mr. & Mrs. Brudon would have been pleased with the way he lived his final days.
